Ruffgers offers luxury campus housing for your dog boarding needs! Our dog facility is one-of-a-kind. It features a dog training area, as well as indoor and outdoor play areas. We pride ourselves with having a team who are well-educated, experienced trainers, who come from a variety of different backgrounds in the animal industry, including professional trainers, pet sitters, and veterinarian-related jobs.

 

 

The Residence Hall has a unique home-like layout, creating a comfortable, non-traditional kennel space for your four-footed friend. Our facility is always staffed, even overnight, to ensure your dog’s comfort and safety while you are away!

Ruffgers offers a well-balanced dog daycare program, which is available all days of the week excluding Sunday.

Our daycare program is broken up into half or full days. This is perfect for the dog-parents on the go. Our daycare dogs enjoy plenty of play-time and we are often told that they are quite tuckered out at home from playing all day.

This is great for dogs who prefer to be alone, or less active. They will enjoy plenty of play time but will retreat to their own space after play time is over.

The Fun Doesn't stop there!

We also offer baths, nails, brushing, raw bones, chicken back or neck, bully sticks, duck feet, lamb ears or goats milk as add-ons to your stay. Be sure to ask your trainer when scheduling your dogs visit about all the options or download the form here and bring it with you!! Whether you are looking for puppy “boot camp” or brushing up on some good behaviors, we are pleased to offer our Board & Train program. While enrolled in our Board & Train program, your pup will receive one-on-one training from our experienced training staff. This includes such things like crate games, walking nicely on a leash, stay, agility, not jumping on people, or recall, as well as house-breaking and basic obedience. All Board & Train stays include a 30-minute lesson to go over all the learning that took place while your pup was with us so that the training can be continued and reinforced at home!

Meals must be pre-bagged in pre-measured ziplock bags for each meal. Prescription medications are ok to bring, however if you are bringing supplements or any other items for feeding please include them in the pre-portioned meal bags.

Themed Suite

We have 4 themed rooms within our Den Suite. These spaces feature a common area where they can play throughout the day with their friends, but they will also enjoy a private area where they are fed and sleep at night. The common areas have couches, rugs and lots of toys to make them feel right at home

Larger area that is suited for large breeds or a family of dogs. These spaces are our largest, and are typically booked for very large dogs, or families who want multiple dogs to share the same area.

Before Your First Daycare or Boarding

All new students must come in for an assessment at no charge for about an hour and a half to ensure they are placed in a space that will be just like home while you are away. While we are assessing the unique needs of your pup, you can tour our facility, shop our retail area (some great treats & foods available), or enjoy a cup of coffee in our lobby. Dog parents are also free to leave during the assessment.
