Ruffgers offers a well-balanced dog daycare program, which is available all days of the week excluding Sunday. Our daycare program is broken up into half or full days. This is perfect for the dog-parents on the go. Our daycare dogs enjoy plenty of play-time and we are often told that they are quite tuckered out at home from playing all day.

Before Your First Daycare or Boarding

All new students must come in for an assessment at no charge for about an hour and a half to ensure they are placed in a space that will be just like home while you are away. While we are assessing the unique needs of your pup, you can tour our facility, shop our retail area (some great treats & foods available), or enjoy a cup of coffee in our lobby. Dog parents are also free to leave during the assessment.

ENRICHMENT

We are pleased to offer daycare enrichment, which is a very unique daycare experience at Ruffgers. While your dog stays for enrichment daycare they also receive one-on-one training from our experienced training staff. This includes such things like crate games, walking nicely on a leash, stay, agility, not jumping on people, or recall. We are always excited to go over all the training we have worked on while your dog was staying with us, which helps you continue the training as well.

We also offer baths, nails, brushing, raw bones, chicken back or neck, bully sticks, duck feet, lamb ears, or goat’s milk as an add-on to your stay. Be sure to ask your trainer when scheduling your dog’s visit about all the options and the benefits!
